Miyazaki Beef

"Sukiyaki"(Miyazaki Prefecture)

Miyazaki Prefecture is the second largest producing area of the Japanese black cow.  The warm climate and lush countryside is very suited to 

producing high quality beef. Miyazaki beef won a Culinary 

“Olympics” held every 5 years in Japan by Wagyu Registry Association.

Miyazaki beef is renowned for its cherry red color, smooth velvety texture, juicy flavor and a delicate but rich taste that lingers on the palate.

Slicing for Sukiyaki if a bit thicker than Shabu Shabu.  There isn’t a rule 

for it but generally it is sliced between 1.8mm to 2.5mm.
